Manufacturing Execution System (MES) & Connectivity

Program Overview
Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) represent the core layer that connects shop floor operations with enterprise systems. This workshop provides a practical introduction to MES fundamentals, the ISA-95 standard, and modern industrial connectivity architectures such as OPC UA, MQTT, and Unified Namespace (UNS).
Participants will gain a clear understanding of how MES enables real-time visibility, production control, and seamless data integration across manufacturing environments.

Target Audience
Manufacturing professionals, engineers, IT/OT teams, automation specialists, and decision-makers involved in production systems and digital transformation initiatives.

Program Outcomes
1.    Understand the role of MES in Industry 4.0 and digital manufacturing
2.    Identify core MES functions and their operational impact
3.    Apply ISA-95 concepts for structured system integration
