Introduction to Finance

Program Overview
Understanding of Finance and accounting are needed for professional working in non- finance areas of organization for overall decision support. This knowledge is at the heart of every organization and is helpful to all decision makers. This learning path covers Fundamental knowledge of basic concepts at an introductory level of finance and accounting.  Focus of training is on understanding how financial accounting data needed at  an organization and how essential concepts can help to create familiarity with basic financial statements and that  this  data can be included in various reports. Discussion will include how financial statements are generated, reported, and used for financial analysis, decision making and control purpose. It is helpful to all professionals with little and no knowledge of finance and accounting to understand finance and accounting concepts to be more aware of performance matrices used by organizations.
