About the course
In this program participants will acquire an in-depth understanding of the different types of project finance and how to apply them in project financing deals. The aim of this course is to equip participants with an overview of Project Finance by taking them through all stages of a Project Finance transaction, so that they can apply the techniques of Project Finance in deals related to options available to finance and manage a project for achieving a successful outcome.

Managers and decision makers are looking to understand Project Finance deal components. It is prerequisite that participants have an intermediate level knowledge of financial analysis, the key features of banking products and commercial aspects of banking documentation. Participants’ understanding of NPV and IRR calculation is good to have as a knowledge to immerse in more knowledge related to project financing.
Program Prerequisites
Participants are required to possess an intermediate level of knowledge in financial analysis, the key characteristics of banking products, and the commercial aspects of banking documentation. It is also recommended that participants understand Net Present Value (NPV) and Internal Rate of Return (IRR) calculations to delve deeper into project finance. - Learning Outcomes:
1. Evaluate the major stakeholders in a project or infrastructure project deal.
2. Understand the drivers of viability of a project finance transaction.
3. Identify the inherent risks in a project Financing Transaction.
4. Perform Project viability analysis by using techniques of financial and risk analysis.
5. Understand, interpret, and create project finance documentation.
